Caitlin Clark detailed what Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been up to since the Super Bowl while detailing her hopes that they attend one of her WNBA games this season.
Caitlin Clark sees a slam dunk date night in Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s future.
While the duo have largely stayed out of the spotlight since the 2025 Super Bowl, the WNBA star admitted she wouldn’t mind seeing Travis and Taylor fill in a blank space in their calendars at one of her games.
“I mean, I hope so,” Caitlin told USA Today in an interview published May 21. “They’re on a nice ‘in vacation mode’ right now. So, I hope they enjoy a nice little break out of the spotlight. But, I’m sure they’ll be cheering for the Fever either way.”
Indeed, the Indiana Fever guard and the “Cruel Summer” singer formed a fast friendship last year after Caitlin, a noted Swiftie, met Travis and Taylor while attending the Eras Tour.
And two months after Caitlin revealed to Time that the couple of nearly two years had invited her to a Chiefs game when they met at the concert, the 23-year-old joined Taylor in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium to see Travis and the Chiefs beat the Houston Texas in the AFC divisional playoff game. (The Chiefs ultimately fell to the Philadelphia Eagles just a few weeks later in the Super Bowl.)
As for how Caitlin looks back on that enchanting day out?
“Getting to be there and spend time with her, doing something that I really, really love—you’re sharing a common joy,” she told Bustle in an interview published May 21. “I grew up the biggest Chiefs fan, [living] two-and-a-half hours from their stadium. I went to a game every single year growing up. Getting to sit in a box and cheer for the Chiefs with Taylor, that’s on another level.”
Since Taylor and Travis began their relationship in 2023, she has been a mainstay at his football games, while he’s returned the favor by showing his support at more than a dozen concerts during her record-breaking Eras Tour.
“I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told Time in December 2023. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone.”
Despite largely keeping out of the public eye following the Super Bowl, Travis and Taylor have made a few rare appearances over the past few months, most recently during a Mother’s day outing in Philadelphia with his mom Donna Kelce and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce.
But amid their low-key few months, Travis has been keeping his eye on the prize: returning to the NFL and hopefully picking up another Super Bowl ring.
“Gonna try and get to the best shape I’ve been this offseason,” the 35-year-old told ESPN’s Pat McAfee in February, “and get back to the mountaintop.”
And speaking of basketball, in addition to possibly reuniting with Caitlin at a Fever game, the couple may end up having a courtside date anyway. After Ben Stiller reminisced in March about attending a New York Knicks game with Taylor in the past, Travis floated an idea. “Maybe,” he told the actor on his New Heights podcast, “We can get Taylor to another Knicks game.”
But while Travis and Taylor are looking into the future, keep reading to look back at their love story.
July 2023: So, Make the Friendship Bracelets
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s love story began in July 2023, when the singer’s Eras Tour made a stop at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.
As a huge Swiftie, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end caught the show with hopes of giving Taylor a friendship bracelet with his number on it. However, he failed to complete the pass due to her pre-show rituals.
“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings,” Travis shared on the July 26 episode of his New Heights podcast. “So, I was a little butt-hurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
Summer 2023: This Is Him Trying
After publicly recounting his fumble—a move Taylor would later describe as “metal as hell”—Travis decided to shoot his shot and invite the Grammy winner to watch the Chiefs play at Arrowhead Stadium.
“I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court,” he shared on The Pat McAfee Show. “I told her, you know, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit.’ So, we’ll see what happens in the near future.”
August 2023: Enchanted to Meet You
Travis was rocking a mustache—which he debuted in August during training camp—when he was first introduced to Taylor.

Though folklore had it that it was the couple’s first in-person meeting, the “Karma” singer later clarified the two had spent a “significant amount of time” getting to know each other beforehand.
As Taylor noted, “We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date.”
