Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow and rumored girlfriend Olivia Ponton appeared to make their romance official with a night out in New York City June 20.
Olivia Ponton had home field advantage when Joe Burrow was in town.
Months after dating rumors between the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model emerged, they appeared to confirm their romance with a night out in New York City.
For their June 20 outing—which included visits to multiple celebrity hotspots around Manhattan and ended with them arriving at Olivia’s apartment around 3 a.m.—Joe sported a blue short-sleeved, hooded sweatshirt and baggy jeans, while Olivia rocked a flowy white top tucked into a pair of black shorts.
E! News has reached out to reps for Joe and Olivia and has not yet heard back.
Joe, 28, and Olivia, 23, first sparked romance rumors when the latter reported a burglary at the football star’s Ohio home. In the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office report of the December incident obtained by E! News, officials described Olivia as “employed by Mr. Burrow.”
Days later, Joe, who was in Dallas for a football game during the robbery, spoke out and detailed how the incident highlighted his frustration with the details of his private life being public knowledge. (Four men were ultimately charged in the connection with a series of burglaries at athletes’ homes.)
He didn’t, however, directly address his relationship with Olivia.
“I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one,” Joe said in a press conference, per Sports Illustrated. “Way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share, so that’s all I got to say about that.”
“We live a public life and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy,” he continued. “That has been difficult for me to deal with my entire career. Still learning. But I understand it’s the life that we choose. Doesn’t make it any easier to deal with.”
Last month, Joe and Olivia had a low key outing at a Formula One event in Miami, though the pair weren’t photographed together.
