Bachelorette’s Jillian Harris Marries Justin Pasutto After 13 Years

The Bachelorette alum Jillian Harris tied the knot with Justin Pasutto in an intimate church ceremony followed by a flower-themed wedding surrounded by friends and family two days later.

Jillian Harris and Justin Pasutto have officially tied the knot.

The Bachelorette alum married the former snowboarder in a church ceremony on Aug. 21 followed by a “dreamy and romantic” flower-filled wedding at their farm in West Kelowna, British Colombia, two days later.

“After eight years of planning, we’ve decided to really go for it,” Jillian told People in a recent interview. “It is an actual fairy-tale dream come true. I’m so happy that we waited this long so that we could truly plan the day that we’ve always dreamed of.”

Indeed, the couple—who got engaged on Christmas in 2016—curated the perfect traditional ceremony at the church where Justin’s parents got married, during which they walked down the aisle to Jillian’s piano teacher Judy Yamamoto playing “Pachelbel’s Canon.”

Then, a few days later, their best friend Warwick Andrews officiated a second ceremony in front of all their friends and family. And among the five gorgeous dresses that Jillian wore throughout their nuptials, one of them was chosen many years ago.

“I fell in love with the dress,” the 45-year-old recalled. “At the time, it had long sleeves, but we customized it. As the years went by, I felt I no longer loved it, and it sat at Candé Bridal for seven years.”

“When our wedding date was finalized, I started looking for a new dress, but could not find anything,” she continued. “Adriana asked me to come try on the original dress again. I reluctantly agreed, and when I tried it on with my cousins and daughter, I started crying and realized it was still the one.”

During their flower farm-themed nuptials, Jillian and Justin—who share kids Leo, 9, and Annie, 6—also exchanged traditional wedding vows and hosted an Italian-themed rehearsal dinner as a nod to Justin’s Italian roots and Catholic background.

“We spent a lot of time customizing the liturgy so it felt special and personal to us as a couple and as a family,” Jillian shared. “Justin is Catholic, but I am not, and I was very nervous about that part, so it was important for us to make it meaningful.”

To make their big day even more special, the pair hosted their ceremony on their own lakeside property—and they made it as “timeless, elegant and luxurious” as they could’ve ever imagined.

“Justin has worked tirelessly over the past two years to repair the property, replanting trees, moving dirt, planting grass, irrigating and managing the team,” the the reality star gushed. “He has devoted the last year of his life to making my wedding venue dreams come true.”
