Rihanna attended the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City Nov. 3 alongside A$AP Rocky, marking her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to the pair’s daughter Rocki Irish in September.

During the 2025 CFDA Fashion Awards in New York City Nov. 3, the “Umbrella” singer made her first red carpet appearance since welcoming daughter Rocki Irish in September, and used the night as a heartwarming date night with A$AP Rocky.
For the outing, Rihanna donned an outfit by Alaïa, complete with a black trenchcoat cinched at her waist and a pair of flowy white slacks. She added sparkle with a set of Dyne diamond earrings.
For his part, A$AP—who was honored at the event with the 2025 CFDA Fashion Icon Award—sported a Chanel suit over a yellow V-neck sweater and a pair of white-and-black dress shoes.
During the date night, the pair posed for pictures on the red carpet while laughing and holding hands with one another, and at one point A$AP (real name Rakim Mayers) gave Rihanna a kiss on the cheek.
Less than a week before their arrival at the CFDA Fashion Awards, A$AP—who also shares sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, with Rihanna—made waves by seemingly confirming speculation that he had tied the knot with the Fenty Beauty founder when referring to himself as her husband.
“Being a father and a partner and a loving husband in my family is what makes me really, really happy,” he told Perfect Magazine in an interview published Oct. 29. “That’s what honestly does get me going: being able to express myself creatively, being able to be a family man and being able to be an artisan.”
The month before, the 37-year-old hinted at possibly having made it down the aisle with Rihanna, telling Elle Sept. 24, “How you know I’m not already a husband?”
However, the “Praise the Lord” rapper kept mum, adding, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”
Regardless of the label that most accurately describes his relationship to Rihanna, A$AP has been vocal that their daughter is his most notable accomplishment of the year.
“That’s my favorite thing I created this year,” he told Complex last month. “Shout out to Rocki Irish, man.”

After announcing they were expecting their first baby, Rihanna recalled keeping her pregnancy a secret from her friends. “It was harder for me to keep it from my posse, because they’re around me, they know my habits,” she told E!’s Justin Sylvester. “They’re like, ‘You don’t want something to drink? You’re not smoking?’ And I’m eating all the things I’m not used to eating. They know I hate sweets and I’m all of a sudden asking for cookies and donuts. But finally, I just had to let it all out, and they were all shocked, of course, as the world was shocked as well.”
