After fans thought Demi Moore snubbed Kylie Jenner at the 2025 Golden Globes, Demi’s daughter Tallulah Willis explained what really happened.
There are nothing but golden vibes between Demi Moore and Kylie Jenner.
In fact, after fans noted that the Substance actress appeared to snub the Kardashians star—who was there with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet—while greeting Kylie’s table mate Elle Fanning at the 2025 Golden Globes Jan. 5, Tallulah Willis quickly shot down any rumors.
“HI @ everyone but really press, NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD,” the daughter of Demi and Bruce Willis wrote in a Jan. 6 Instagram Story, “we spent new year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do, this angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishers.”
The 30-year-old added, “There was not [sic] snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space. Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!”
And focusing on Demi winning her first acting award in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy category for her role in The Substance is exactly what Tallulah and her sisters Rumer Willis, 36, and Scout Willis, 33, did.
“This woman is my teacher, my guide, my friend. The world is seeing you as your family does, and I am beaming with pride,” Tallulah shared on her Stories following Demi’s win. “I love you mom. You are the greatest teacher. The genuine shock makes me tear up. You are so worthy.”
She also shared several snaps alongside her mom and the Golden Globe award Jan. 6, writing in the caption, “Clear eyes full hearts CANT LOSE @demimoore !!”
Demi also got a special message from Bruce’s wife of 15 years Emma Heming Willis, who shared a video of Demi to her Instagram Story Jan. 5, adding, “We’re screaming over here!!! Congratulations @demimoore!!!!!”
As for Kylie, the 27-year-old appeared to take the night in stride, packing on the PDA with Timothée and bonding with his A Complete Unknown costars Elle and Monica Barbaro.
The Kylie Cosmetics founder—who shares kids Stormi, 6, and Aire, 2, with ex Travis Scott—snapped several selfies with the two ladies, all while looking stunning in a low back, vintage silver chainmail Atelier Versace dress from the brand’s Spring 1999 collection.
