These 2025 Golden Globes “Fun Facts” Actually Stole the Show

While the 2025 Golden Globes had no shortage of viral moments, it’s the ceremony’s “fun facts” for stars like Demi Moore and Andrew Garfield that stole the show.

The 2025 Golden Globes were handing out more than just awards.

Indeed, during the Nikki Glaser-hosted event Jan. 5—which saw Demi MooreSebastian Stan and the cast of Shogun among those leaving with a trophy in hand—the telecast also revealed fun facts about the presenters and winners as they took the stage throughout the night. And they quickly emerged as a fan-favorite for viewers.

“The ‘fun fact’ lower thirds of the #GoldenGlobes are delightful,” one viewer wrote on X, “and need to carry over into every televised award show from now on.”

Some celebrity factoids were pretty tame—like when it was revealed that Dwayne Johnson currently holds multiple Guinness World Records, including the most selfies on a red carpet in three minutes. Or that his Moana costar Auli’i Cravalho is a proud cat owner who is actually allergic to cats.

But the facts got a bit more, uh, interesting as the night went on. For example, fans of Demi learned that she is not only from the alien conspiracy theory capital, Rosewell, NM, but is also “an avid doll collector and keeps a separate residence to house her 2,000+ vintage dolls.”

Many online had a field day upon learning about hobby, with one viewer writing, “These random ass fun facts at the golden globes like why are they airing her out like this.”

Another eyebrow-raising fact? From none other than Nicolas Cage. “Cage has a pet crow named Hoover,” his fact read, “who lives in a geodesic dome in his Las Vegas home.”

But beyond sharing curious insights into celebrities’ lives, other facts ranged from pre-stardom careers to how they spend their free time. Former Starbucks employee Andrew Garfield, for instance, worked at several different locations because he kept getting transferred due to “always caught sitting down by his bosses.”

Zoe Saldaña’s go-to karaoke song is “Piece of My Heart.” Oh, and Vin Diesel is super passionate about Dungeons & Dragons.
