Campbell “Pookie” Puckett Undergoes Surgery to Remove Pre-Cancer

Two months after welcoming their daughter Paloma, Jett Puckett revealed that his wife Campbell “Pookie” Puckett underwent surgery amid a pre-cancer health scare.

Campbell “Pookie” Puckett is sharing insight into her unexpected health scare.

The TikToker and her husband Jett Puckett—who tied the knot in 2018—shared that Campbell is in recovery from surgery just two months after welcoming their daughter Paloma.

“Hey guys I got a bit of a different update today,” Jett said in a video posted to Instagram and TikTok Jan. 8. “Pookie had to have surgery to remove some pre-cancer. We found out about this a while back.”

And for the 33-year-old, his wife’s frightening experience was the worst possible way to ring in the new year.

“It’s been very scary, especially for me,” Jett admitted. “I am so madly in love with Campbell that the thought of anything at all being wrong with her is, frankly, more than I can bear.”

“Campbell, on the other hand, has been incredibly strong, incredibly brave about this,” he continued. “She just always has this tremendously strong faith that everything is going to work out. I really love and cherish that about her.”

The 32-year-old’s surgery was without complications and Jett shared that the doctor was, “cautiously optimistic.” And to cheer his wife up during her recovery, he got her “some of her favorite things,” including her “iconic Pookie salad” from Chick-Fil-A and a bouquet of four dozen white roses.

“Babe, these are the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen,” Campbell said, shedding tears as he handed her the floral arrangement. “I really didn’t want to cry, you’re just the best.”

But for Jett, it was a small way to bring her comfort amid the scary situation.

“I mean, I’m just so proud of you, how brave and strong you’ve been leading up to the surgery,” Jett explained. “You’re just remarkable, and I really admire and cherish your faith that everything’s gonna work out. You’re just the best person I know.”

Indeed, Jett has never been shy in expressing his adoration for Pookie. After all, the Atlanta-based couple rose to fame with their viral outfit checks featuring Jett referring to his wife by her iconic nickname and gushing over her “fire” outfits. And his heart absolutely exploded when they welcomed their beautiful baby girl two months ago.

“My angel has given me another angel,” he said in their Nov. 12 TikTok video, shortly after Paloma’s birth. “Daddy’s got two angels. Pookie and mini Pookie.”

“We brought the baby into the world together. It was incredible—I literally watched our daughter come out of Campbell into the world,” he added. “It was an unforgettable experience that I will treasure forever.”
