Six months after announcing their pregnancy, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Rachel Fuda gave birth to her first baby boy Lorenzo with her husband of seven years John Fuda.
Rachel Fuda and John Fuda are growing their dream family.
Six months after announcing that she and her husband of seven years were expecting their third baby, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star—who also shares daughters Gianella, 4, and Guiliana, 2, with John, as well as adopting his son Jaiden, 18—welcomed son Lorenzo Antonio Fuda Feb. 19.
“With the birth of our last baby, our family has grown into everything we ever dreamed,” Rachel told People in an interview published Feb. 21, “a beautiful circle of six hearts, bound by love, laughter, and the journey we’ve shared. This little soul is our final piece, the sweetest ending to a chapter of beginnings, and the start of a lifetime of cherished moments together.”
“Our hearts are fuller, our home is brighter,” she continued, “our baby boy is here, and I am so grateful to be a mother again.”
After all, the couple—who previously conceived Gianella and Giuliana through IVF—have always been open about the difficulties of their fertility journey.
“There’s so many things that have to go right when you’re going through IVF, and this time around, there were a lot of roadblocks for us,” Rachel told People in August. “It took a couple months of us working with my doctor to figure out when this could actually happen for us. And it was really frustrating because it just kept getting delayed.”
But, thankfully, the 33-year-old persisted and seized the opportunity to complete the family she’d always dreamed of.
“I thought, ‘This is my last shot,’” she explained. “‘If this doesn’t work, we’re done.’ Because first of all, it costs a lot of money. But second of all, you’re on all these medications that just throw your body off. I was hormonal, breaking out so bad, tired and on edge; my mood was going up, down, up, down. I just felt like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’”
And when she find out that she was, indeed, pregnant, she deemed it only fitting to reveal the big news on an August RHONJ special.
After costar Melissa Gorga began her toast, “There’s a lot of life to be had…” Rachel interrupted, sharing, “Considering I’m pregnant!”
And to make it even more official, she shared the sweet news on Instagram with the most dreamy family video shoot on the beach.
“When I was a little girl, I dreamt of my life as a mother, filling my future home with family and love,” she captioned the August Instagram post. “I’m forever grateful to God for allowing me to live my dream every day. With full hearts, we are counting our many blessings as we excitedly anticipate becoming a family of 6.”
