Demi Moore shared a sweet video of another happy day with ex-husband Bruce Willis in honor of his 70th birthday.
The Substance star had a heartwarming reaction to a video of her and Bruce—who she divorced in 2000 following 13 years of marriage—playfully dancing in one-piece black outfits that was originally shared by their daughter Rumer Willis.
Alongside the sweet memory, the Golden Globe winner—who also shares daughters Scout, 33, and Tallulah, 31, with Bruce—included three red-heart emojis.
And Demi wasn’t the only member of Bruce’s family to pay tribute to the actor for his special day. Rumer also shared a touching message for her dad in her post that included the video, writing, “To the King…I love you Daddio.”
Plus, Bruce’s wife Emma Heming Willis—who he married in 2009—honored her husband by thanking fans for their support amid his battle with aphasia, which he was diagnosed with in 2022, and frontotemporal dementia, which was revealed in 2023.
“It’s Bruce’s birthday, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that there’s no greater fan than a Bruce fan,” she shared to her Instagram. “So flood him with all the love today—he will feel it, I swear he will. You are one powerful bunch. I love how you rally for him, and I’m so grateful that he has you.”
Bruce’s blended family has been public in their support for one another, especially since the Die Hard star—who also shares daughters Mabel, 12, and Evelyn, 10, with Emma—began his challenging health journey.
“We will always be a family, just in a different form,” Demi said of Bruce in a Feb. 6 interview with Variety. “For me, there was never a question. I show up because that’s what you do for the people you love.”
The 62-year-old went on to note that she “visits him weekly” and hopes their story sets a good example for other families going through divorce.
“I hope it’s encouraging for others to see that there’s a different way to do things,” she said. “There’s life after divorce. There is a way to co-parent with love.”
And Emma echoed Demi’s sentiment about their family being a support system through Bruce’s diagnoses.
“The family respects the way I’m looking after him; they really support me,” she shared with Town & Country magazine in 2022 following Bruce’s initial diagnosis. “If I need to vent, if I need to cry, if I need to rage—because all of that can happen and it’s okay to have those feelings—they are always there to listen.”
She added, “I’m so thankful that we are this blended family. They’re very supportive, very loving, and very helpful, and a lot of people don’t have that.”
